Take off the painting and fabrics from the karibari board and cut the fabrics to the final size. Use paste to prevent
fraying of the threads at the cut.

Adhere the painting on the fabric approximately 3mm overlapped. Hit with a hummer to make the surface of the
joint flat and smooth.

Attach the fabric strips “ichi-monji” on the top of the painting; “chu-mawashi” to surrounds the painting; and “tenchi”
on the top and bottom of the painting in the order.

Finally it becomes a familiar form of hanging scroll.
